Createlli is supporting Bilbao, Edinburgh and Eindhoven on their NoisAbility project
We're happy to announce that we will be helping Bilbao, Eindhoven and Edinburgh on this innovative project. It is part of the European SynchroniCity project.
The project will pilot innovations in Bilbao, Edinburgh and Eindhoven to help cities understand the context for when noise becomes problematic for citizens. Noise pollution is a recognised, serious impact on health and wellbeing and Edinburgh, Bilbao and Eindhoven have identified noise as a priority to be addressed.
Createlli supports the participation and the collection of perception data with the citizens. The perception data are combined with sounds measurements of IoT networks in the cities.
This is a nice recognition of the work that our Bilbao team did with the city of Bilbao already in 2016 on establishing a noise baseline in the project 'Bilbao Listens', and in 2018 in Vitoria-Gazteiz. It is thanks to these successful projects that the city of Bilbao invited us into the noisability project.
We are working together with Urban Tide Ltd – www.urbantide.com and The Lunar Works Ltd – www.thelunarworks.com on this project.
The NoisAbility project is funded through the SynchroniCity project. SynchroniCity is an Internet of Things (IoT) Large-Scale Pilot project funded from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement No 732240. It is co-funded by the Swiss Confederation, South Korean Republic, and the Mexican Federal Republic. 40 partners worldwide from business, academia, municipalities and NGOs are part of SynchroniCity. https://synchronicity-iot.eu/
