Geraardsbergen on Board

The Flemish Waterway, the Department of Environment, the Province of East Flanders, and the City of Geraardsbergen are joining forces to transform the Dender waterfront.
The redesign will create more attractive quays, breathe new life into the city centre, and strengthen protection against flooding.

Residents and stakeholders are involved at every stage, starting with a participatory DNA analysis based on interviews, group discussions, and an online survey. Together with the client, we designed engaging on-site activities and targeted actions to inspire involvement.

Our goal: to make Geraardsbergen proud of its Dender waterfront once again.
