This week we explored the Unal site in Geraardsbergen together with local residents and interested stakeholders. During this participatory walk, we reflected on the future of the industrial area:

• How can we maintain and strengthen employment while keeping nuisance for the neighbourhood to a minimum?
• Is there potential to make (part of) the riverside area along the Dender greener or suitable for recreation?
• How can we improve mobility and make it safer?

The valuable ideas and concerns shared by the participants will be integrated by Plusoffice & Leidsman into the future vision for the site. Stay tuned!
