werkt al jaren aan een sterk fietsbeleid om bewoners te laten kiezen voor \u2018zachte mobiliteit\u2019 met meer fietsen en minder autoverplaatsingen. Als we kijken naar de huidige keuzes voor mobiliteit dan scoort Mechelen beter dan het Vlaamse gemiddelde, maar in vergelijking met andere centrumsteden kan het altijd beter. De combinatie van snelle langeafstandsroutes en een fijnmazig stedelijk fietsnetwerk moeten een antwoord bieden op deze vervoersvraag.<br>Createlli stond in voor de bevraging van de bewoners en de stakeholders. Om alternatieven in kaart te brengen benaderden we zowel burgers als experten. Daarbij spraken we met specifieke doelgroepen o.a. wijkgroepen, jeugdzorg, senioren om een zo breed mogelijk publiek te bereiken. We kozen voor diverse gesprekken met het middenveld (fietsbond, handelaars, de klankbordgroep), naast een online bevraging om input te krijgen van de brede bevolking van Mechelen.
